Specter WaveCel Product Overview
Take your protection to the next level. Bontrager Specter WaveCel offers the best in versatility and comfort for everyday rides on roads, trails, gravel and more. From dirt to road, fast or slow, this new wave of protection delivers the confidence you need wherever you ride or race.
WaveCel is a collapsible cellular structure that lines the inside of your helmet. It works like a crumple zone that absorbs the force of an impact before it reaches your head. Read the study to learn more. You’ll never want to ride anything else again.
Cooler than cool
Through extensive research and testing in the lab and in the real world, WaveCel technology is proven to keep you cooler by minimising traditional heat-capturing EPS foam. The material sits perpendicular to the helmet allowing more airflow so it doesn’t impede flow to the forehead and temples, which are the most perceptive regions of cooling while riding, and allows air to flow over your head as hot air is pulled away from you.
